ŠKODA's Satisfied Customer's
Skoda has taken out the latest Roy Morgan customer satisfaction survey, with a 97.5 per cent satisfaction rating among its custmers.
That's above the industry average of 92.6 per cent in Roy Morgan's metrics, based on responses from 50,000 customers surveyed between April 2017 and April 2018.
General satisfaction is up across the industry, even if it's only by 0.2 per cent. That gives carmakers the highest satisfaction rating of all the industries surveyed by Roy Morgan, something Skoda is keen to highlight.
"Anecdotally, we already know our customers love the Skoda product and our unique suite of 'Simply Clever' features; but it's extremely pleasing to have this confirmed in an independent industry-wide survey," said Michael Irmer, Skoda Australia director.
Although it topped the Roy Morgan satisfaction survey, Skoda isn't the only carmaker to fare well in an independent customer survey of late. Earlier this year, Suzuki claimed top spot in Canstar Blue's 2018 new car customer satisfaction survey, taking down the likes of Toyota and Mazda in the process.
"Our research and development teams both here and overseas continue to excel to the next level. This award is a testament to their dedication for developing the Suzuki product to provide the ultimate driving experience, value for money and reliability," said Michael Pachota, general manager for Suzuki Australia, after the announcement in April.
"Additionally, we have already demonstrated with the introduction of the Suzuki Australia Training Academy (SATA) our commitment to improve the entire Suzuki dealer network’s skill-set and ensure the ultimate experience for our customers."
